I’m not missing the old engine. Like, at all. PC Gamer turned up a handful of screenshots for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and god damn do they look pretty. Take a gander and click for full size as usual. The game is due for a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC release on November 11, 2011.

The site warns that they aren’t accepting just any gaming trinkets though, as the coordinators all have day jobs and can only validate and sponsor so many auctions themselves. A handful of volunteers have started Play for Japan, a series of auctions that benefit relief efforts in Japan. There’s some genuinely cool stuff on the block right now, including a copy of Eternal Darkness signed by Denis Dyack, and some Resistance 3 art signed by the team at Insomniac Games.

The previously leaked existence of Mafia II Director’s Cut has been officially confirmed by 2K Games today. Every previous suspicion is correct: the game includes DLC packs The Betrayal of Jimmy, Jimmy’s Vendetta, and Joe’s Adventures, and several car and clothing packs. The only difference is that the game actually has a different title on every platform.

Minecraft dug out three awards: Best Debut Game (even though it hasn’t released yet), Best Downloadable Game, and the Innovation Award.
